Town of Henrietta Public Library – New Municipal Construction

Project Overview

HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design engineering services. The design includes a focus on geothermal HVAC systems and heat recovery ventilation systems for the facility.

Fire Protection design includes a complete sprinkler system designed in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards and the Building and Fire Code of New York State. An automatic wet sprinkler system, tamper, and water flow switches for supervisory and alarm monitoring of all fire protection equipment. An 8″ combined water service located on the first floor and split for domestic and fire services. The fire service will be protected by an 8″ reduced pressure detector assembly (RPDA) type backflow preventer. Design of Domestic Water System, Sanitary Drainage System, Indirect Waste System, Storm Drainage System and Natural Gas System were included.
